For how long could Margarito have been using loaded wraps?

No one knows. I do believe he wore illegal hand wraps more than once.

 

They weren't illegal wraps, that was Trinidad. Margarito had a hard insert behind his knucklepad, from what I remember.

Well regardless, I don't see why Marg would beat down Cotto (the guy who beat Mosley) cleanly and then decide to use handwraps against a Mosley (who lost his last fight, seemed older and out of it and has stopped doping, or at least they say... Margarito was p4p no.5 at the time... what makes him think he couldn't beat Shane cleanly... point is... he used it against Cotto... probably against Cintron too and maybe Williams.....

 

I've always thought Margarito had loaded gloves in the Cotto fight. I know Cotto marks up easy but prior to the fight he never marked up that bad. I thought Cotto went 12 rounds with a pitbull judging by that mess.

Yes, because no one from his opponents team, watching his hands being wrapped, EVER noticed any kind of hand wrapping bull**** going on.

It's funny, Trinidad gets a pass on this.

No one ever mentions Barrera's hand wrapping scandal. No one mentions Kessler's.

So on and so forth.

I could really care less whether Margarito had "loaded" wraps, my issue is with the dumb boxing **** "fans" whom have selective memory and give free passes to everyone else.

 

pac gave him a beating as well but with margarito he looked much worse after it got stopped to me.
The chances of him using loaded gloves vs cotto are pretty big, which is why cotto really needs to win this fight in december, if he loses it he should retire I think he cant handle it mentally if he loses and there is little point to keep getting hurt.
