Apparently, in the aftermath of the fight, Narvaez made it clear what he desires, and called out the other champions in the division. All well and good Omar, glad to see you're at least finally willing to unify, now if we could only get you to ****ing leave Argentina...
Here's the Urina , I you do in fact choose to watch it, prepare for a painfully long entrance from El Huracan. And no more summations like I always do with Mijares, actually watch him if you're curious. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtO4pQ5vUr0[/ame] #Evander Holyfield is also there, you'll see him about 10 minutes in.
A jpab super-flyweight thread thats reached more than two pages:think somethings seriously odd today.
love that lil right hook to the body and put nice combo's together but sometimes drops his hands abit. what di u make of his performance, u reckon he made slighty harder work of it than he is capable:think draws big crowds aswell
http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=287653 these are straw weights, but just in case u aint seen it
Oh yes, definitely made it harder than needed. I kind of anticipated it though, this wasn't really a highly serious fight for him, really just a marking time sort of affair. I mean, you picked up on it, he was a bit porous defensively, Narvaez is never porous defensively. I honestly have him up there with the best defensive fighters in the sport, as soon as I saw Urina land a few times I actually said to myself ''he's not taking this seriously'', he was just going through the motions really, just doing even to try and coast. Whenever you get time mate, if you want to see his best performance that's available on YT that you'd watch the Seda fight. Seda, unlike Urina, is a quality fighter, Omar made him look average, it was excellent stuff from him at times. This fight probably wasn't the best time to make a thread on him now that I think of it. Legend, I'll give it a watch now. I've promised myself to watch more strawweights, the only one below 126 that I don't follow religiously.:yep
Bad news chaps and chapesses. Appears as though the reason for Omar's dip in form towards the tail end of the fight is due to him breaking his left hand. It'll be in a cast for at least 40 days and even after then it's uncertain when he'll be able to return to training, never mind the ring. Hopefully this doesn't severely dent the chances of a Cazares fight.
**** news Rastamice, Our fears have indeed come to fruition, and Omar's going to be out for quite a while, three months to be precise, as a result of his broken hand suffered against Urina. He's been advised to rest it for at least three months, so he'll probably be out of action for even longer. This content is protected
Beautiful KO and an exceptional fight. That was on the Trout-Alvarez card wasn't it? Shame it didn't last a few more rounds, would've been nailed on FOTY had it continued that way.
Sorry mush, but I just can't find it in myself to be interested enough to give him a watch. I got too much already on my mental list, as well as books, TV, general surfing, etc etc. Maybe some other time :good
:blood S'all good. That **** I wrote on the Seda fight essentially covers him anyways, the only time you'd need to watch him is if he ever actually fights a fellow champion, or at some point after he retires.
