Supposedly Matchroom want him and Barker fighting for a title on the same night, Barker has no chance IMO, what about Kell though? Do you see him beating Sanchenko?

Thats a surprise if its true about them wanting Brook/Barker double, most people were saying that they would put on a prizefighter before the Barker fight.

The ndou fight will tell us a lot, but i think he could do with another gatekeeper type opponent assuming he wins

Maybe after the last few poor prizefighters they wanna have a bit of a break.

Personally think he should have at least another top 8-15 type fighter after N'dou if he wins before he goes for a title so we can see how good he really is.

How would Matchroom work that as Martinez-Barker surely would be in the US, an English and US leg? To be honest, I'd still like to see him and Jones fight, which could easily happen in America as a chief support, I reckon it would be closeish but would fancy Jones on pts.

I don't actually think the N'Dou fight will really tell us a great deal about Brook's progress. Granted it's a good deal better than the Kotey's of this world but I think Matchroom have played a blinder here cos I think N'Dou's days as a quality gatekeeper are behind him now to be honest. It should be a comfortable win imo but still be a decent name on his record.

Beating Ndou doesn't really even tell us how he'd get on with someone as good as Clottey though does it?

The Welterweight division is shocking, he could fight a guy in the top ten and it'd barely be a step up. As much as I consider Bongani a good mate, him and Matty Hatton (I felt Ndou won) hardly qualify status as a decent enough Welter. All Brook has to gain re the fact it can be said 'he did a better job than Canelo' if he does.

Saying all that, that's coming from the stndpojnt that they're hyping up Brook as the next big thing. If you go by his level of oppo', it's a good step and a challenging fight, which is why I'm looking forward to it. He could smash Senchenko in a round and I wouldn't be convinced he can cut it. Mike Jones and Berto are the only kind of test that would deem him anywhere seasoned enough for the kind of fights he feels he can work his way into (I don't think they're feasible myself) and even then Brook would be jumping into fights he has no chance in after that.

The only couple of fighters worth bothering with are levels above the rest at Welter IMO. They should give him a few more years against decent, improving opposition and not try and rush him into 'titles' and whatnot. Beating Senchenko is all good, but I'd prefer to see Brook in there with Alfonso Gomez, just as a fight. That'd do much
more for him. Zaveck looks a better fighter than Senchenko also.

    100% yes I hope

If better managed/matched Kell would already be a world champion. I expect him to make a statement by demolishing N'Dou then on to a title bout.

I think he would beat Jones, Senchenko & Zaveck. Ive been a big fan of his ever since I 1st saw him against McKintyre, a major talent who career has stagnated in the last 2 years. I know I'm in the minority here but Kell has the ability to go on & be one of the best British boxers in recent times imo.

Brook-Khan next year will be a monster fight

N'Dou is easily the best opponent Brook has ever faced, which is shocking really.

I admire him for binning Allegedly and his three fights a year against bums routine to take a bit of a leap into the unknown.

With a fairly long spell out and a change of management I think this is a perfectly acceptable fight.

There's still question marks over Kell, in particular his stamina and chin. Alright, N'Dou won't test his chin too much but will certainly extend Brook the full 12 and make him work.

If he got the tough old ******* out of there it would be a big statement. Cintron, Alvarez, Cotto and Witter never looked like doing it, let's be honest here.

I'm not convinced that Brook is the real deal but he's far better than being 5th on some shitty Allegedly promotion fighting Afrobums.

Was impressed with how Brook dealt with a dangerous foe in Kotey. Nobody has ever done that to Kotey.
