Attention wise, how do Khan fans feel about being nudged a bit out of the UK picture?

He was, everytime Maidana hit him, Khan's legs shook, he ran off, flung his arms in the air, ran for the majority and wanted no part of it, after seeing Morales against Maidana it showed Khan's performance wasn't quite so "heroic" after all.

:nono touched a nerve? once Khan takes on a world class fighter who isn't over the hill, can't punch or who plods with little output then he's getting blown away, to be totally honest I think Judah will beat him.

I said McCloskey was in with a great chance if he could get to the later rounds and weather the early storm, when pushed for an answer I picked Khan to win, but we'll never know now will we.

Wishing them best of luck Haye, Froch, Khan for their next fights, I am proud of all 3 of them and for them to be taking on the best possible fights in their divisions.

As for how do I feel with Khan being out the picture here in UK? Khan is doing great over in the States where it really matters now, thats where the real big money and fights are.

Stating facts Haye said he will retire this year, and Froch has maybe 1 or 2 years left in him, Khan will naturally become No.1 British fighter soon so there is no need to worry mate.

I think Froch stated recently he intends to fight for many years yet.

I don't really see Khan becoming the no.1 British fighter as given the extent abilities and that it's only a matter of time before he must face opposition of a good level and in the process he will most likely lose and never go up to the elite levels of the sport.

I don't see him reacting well to a loss that comes through being outclassed. A KO he can write off as having made a stupid mistake, but to be decisively beaten you can't just brush aside.

    :good Nice one Darni.

I think it was a mistake taking Khan off network television. He was getting millions watching, everyone knew him, he was our Golden Boy. Now he's made the even bigger mistake of pissing Sky off, they'll make sure to sideline him completely.

I can't believe anyone could think Khan only has asian or muslim fans. The vast majority of fans at his UK shows are white, and the idea that the majority of people buying his PPVs were Asian is ridiculous. Khan is the one fighter we have who is known by the vast majority of the public, and I've never spoken to anyone sane who hates him. The ladies luurrrve him, the older ladies want to mother him, my mother in her 60s buys his PPVs and watches them at 4am! He's a lovely kid, great fighter, makes sure not to shove his religion down anyone's throats (I'll always give him props for wishing everyone a Happy Christmas - knowing the pressure he is under being a high profile muslim). Hope he knocks Mayweather out at Wembley next year, I'll be there. :happy

I don't think he's nudged out of the top 3. He still possesses a much higher profile than Carl Froch, and is only sitting behind David Haye – who looks to be retiring by the end of this year. If Khan fails to patch things up with Sky, then yes, it may allow Froch to catch up with him. But at the moment, I’m not too concerned about Khan supposedly losing acknowledgment here in the UK. He’s gaining exposure in the US – where it really matters – and his level of opposition has increased since he’s been there. He’s got a good chance of building a healthy 140 resume, and as a Khan fan, that’s all I’m concerned about.

    Khan is 24.
Quite a bit younger than Froch (33) and Haye (30) and has more time on his side.
He had plenty of potential big matches to be built up in the future, over the next 4 or 5 years.
Of course, he might lose again before Froch and Haye do. I doubt it though. I suspect Haye will lose to Wlad in less than 2 weeks and no one will envy that sort of attention. I think Froch may well lose to Ward, and may well retire soon - win, lose or draw.
Froch has paid his dues, and deserves the attention.
Haye has done the heavyweight division a service with his mouth hyping the fight - so he gets the fight he asked for too.

That's a myth. Most of Khan's fans are white. Maybe the hardcore ones might be asian.

I dont think anyone apart from Floyd and Pacman who can beat Khan decisively at 140/147.

Put it this way if Khan stands on his feet for the full 12 rounds not many fighters will beat him on points Mayweather would , Pacman would KO Khan and who else?

    Bradley?

As for losing by KO to Prescott, people said you cant put muslces on the chin and Khan can never be a world class fighter, and no amount of training can improve that chin, Yet Khan proved you can with the right training, conditioning.

Khan proved he has a strong drive for this sport, and maybe a points loss would make him even stronger in the long run.

Totally agree with Khan and Sky, such a stupid move from team Khan, just hope they can work things out in the future.

Great to hear your Mum stays up till 4am to watch Khan thats great support. :good

Some people are never happy with Khan no matter what he does, just the way it is really.
