Attention wise, how do Khan fans feel about being nudged a bit out of the UK picture?

Khan just have to be in great shape for that fight as he will need to be on the move for most of the fight, Margo has a great chin so Khan cant stop him, but Khan can outpunch and outland him all day.

I am also banking on Khan being a big 147 fighter which he will be, with better pop at that weight to go with his speed, plus better balance with more weight on his skinny legs.

Darni man, speed isn't everything! You need to stop putting so much hope into that, otherwise you're going to heavily disappointed in the near future.

I think that to beat Margarito you still need plenty in your fists or top notch footwork/defence.

Khan isn't going to be able to do what Mosley did, that's for sure.

Look how he took Cintron's best punches and made him quit, or how he forced Cotto into submission in the late rounds.

A fighter who has beaten opponents with his chin alone won't worry about Khan :yep

''Speed is the greatest tool in boxing if used in the right way and mastered''

Losses are a part of boxing, so what if Khan loses, Khan has already surpassed many people's predictions, even if he quit today it wont matter to me, not bad for a glass jaw fighter who people joked about after his Prescott loss.

Margo IMO would eat Khan's punches for fun and pressure him with ease. Khan gives up to much room and allows himself to get near ropes. Margo loves that and Khan pulls full guard head down and is open for uppercut and Margo throws them in bunches and would march forward and break Khan down to body and head and stop him late on.

    He's a big WW.

I agree with this, most definitely. But has Khan mastered it yet? That remains to be seen.

I meant you'll be disappointed when Khan's speed fails to save him in a fight where he's being out-thought and outclassed. But yes, he's already gone beyond what many people thought after his Prescott loss. For that he deserves credit.

Plus Cotto and Margo are 154 fighters, Khan is right now fighting at 140.

These fights wont happen unless they when down to 147 at least, no way Margo makes 147 now, he would have to kill himself to make it.

This, and many other reasons why Khan would lose to Margarito.

Khan killed himself making 135, especially against Prescott. He was fasting and imagine spending 3 hours in the sauna with a sweatsuit on and then not being able to take even a sip of water untill the evening! Khan had to lose 6lbs on the day of the weigh in against Prescott. Also at 135 Khan used to do a lot of weights and very little leg work. Since he has hooked up with Ariza his body has transformed. Margarito would be a tough fight because of his size, strength and power. Berto, Ortiz also very tough 50-50 fights. Kahn would be able to beat Clottey and Mosley on points at this moment. Khan will be much stronger at 147. Ariza said that is the weight where we will see the best of Khan and says Khan would get more KO's at 147.

Khan was not properly rehydrated as well. The weigh in against Prescott was at 1pm, and Khan did not have any food and fluids in his body untill 7 pm. He only put on 4lbs, instead of the usual 10lbs he used to put on after the weigh in and was very weak. That is why he never fights during Ramadhan now.

Khan didn't fast during ramadan at the time of the KO loss to Prescott. Stop pretending to be a member of team khan :good

Yeah true. Which, to credit Khan, may not be that much of a problem for him. He seems to have that young, naive, child-like enthusiasm in him where he'll believe things in himself which most observors would laugh at. I'd have more confidence in his ability to not let a 12-round outclassing get to him, than I would in most others. Mentally, Khan is very strong.
