Floyd let it be known that he was open to negotiating with Pacquiao and said he'd pay Marquez step aside money if they wanted to fight. So that means Pacquiao's team was supposed to go up to him and say they want to negotiate AND THEN HE'LL PAY MARQUEZ THE MONEY

yeah well guess what he accepted it
The point though is this. A 10 million dollar weight penalty is ridiculous, but Floyd accepted it with no problem. The penalty is there to make sure Floyd doesn't have an unfair advantage.

But guess what the point of the ODST is?

"The truth is taking blood out of my body does not seem natural to me and mentally I feel it will weaken me if blood is taken from me just days before the fight"

    -Manny Pacquiao

Despite saying he just doesn't want to have blood taken DAYS before the fight, Pacquaio had earlier requested a 30 day cutoff. He also would go on to turn down a comprimise of 14 days. I guess by "days before the fight", he really meant several weeks.

:patsch It's not excessive because it's a non-factor. Floyd can make 147 with ease. There is no ten million...

Floyd did not want this fight. *****s just have to accept this and move on.

......and if Floyd wants it, he knows what to do, Pac is not hiding or going away.

You saw Floyd intentionally NOT make weight vs. JMM right?

This is nothing more then insurance if he tried that bull**** again. It could have been ten billion, and floyd would make weight, rending this moot.

What about this quote from September 2009:

Bob Arum - "The fight that should be made is Floyd Mayweather vs. Shane Mosley, but Floyd wont take that fight. He will never take a fight where there is a possibility he will not lose". Money is secondary to him. He cares more about his legacy and retiring undefeated so he could say he never lost a fight."

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

So why make the demand? Why not just ask for $5million, or $1 million? And if it's such a non factor, why not just scrap the demand altogether?

Just like how emmanuel has to believe drawing blood weakens him and wasting money on lawyers will get Floyd to stop making fun of his belligerent refusal to blood test.
