Didn't he hit him with a shot that wobbled him momentarily at the very start of the fight. Like one of the first punches he landed.

If ya don't know the difference between a stumble and being wobbled, yeah. Which I'm sure you do if you watch it again.

There is some nice good old fashioned revisionism taking place. The only problem is it doesn't really work in a fight that lasted just over a round because we can all go and watch it again quite comfortably.

Now TFFP, Im sure you know me by now, I post straight from the heart, no nonsense at all. So please, just watch this very same vid of the fight I have many times, & tell me I am imagining Enzo throwing a left hook & staggering David Haye at 2:38 in the first round. The commentator noticed it, & the co-commentator commented on it later in the round

Im too long in the tooth to talk nonsense just for attention, it aint how I roll, I just tell it like I see it.:smoke

I'll check it out. I remember him being wobbled but maybe it was a stumble.

Squared on. You can see his feet tangled and the force of the punch knocked him back but the clue is in the fact he had his feet under him straight away and threw a big right hand about 5 seconds afterwards. Not really 'staggered' is he? If he was he'd be taking some time out. Albeit it does look more like he's hurt in this footage compared to the Setanta one.

The times I think Haye has been genuinely hurt are Mock (worst), Thompson, Mormeck. He's had worrying moments in a few other fights but not what I'd call actually hurt.

I thought he took the punches against Thompson pretty well. Before the fight was stopped, he took lots of clean shots and didn't look like he was going down. Even at the very end of the fight he was throwing punches.

fair play TFFP, its just how everyone perceives it from their own viewpoint, & Im not going to argue for or against Haye being truly hurt.

Simply from my own viewpoint I think Haye was hurt, & watching this fight & imagining Wlad employing similar tactics to Enzo, I come to the conclusion that Haye is going to struggle to cope against Wlad using similar tactics, which im sure he will, using that jab & left hook to full advantage.
This fight to me shows how Wlad will beat Haye.

    Darklord take note;)

Enzo was never in the fight, it's beyond ridiculous to suggest otherwise...

I know what happened at the end, Haye used his amazing speed & power to dismatle Enzo, I have never disputed the fact that I believe haye to be the real deal, I totally respect him as a fighter, & I give him a big chance of pulling off the upset.
There comes a time when a man has to make his mind up & give a prediction, & I have never found it harder than this fight!

Im basing my whole prediction on Wlad using similar tactics to Enzo, but being able to implement them better due to being a bigger & better man than Macarinelli. add that to fighting on home turf also? I see Wlad getting early success with the jab & left hook, quickly sickening Haye & getting him out of there quick style.

PS I make my own decisions Rob, I aint like most of brit ESB nowadays, or should I say the brit ESB stepford wives club:yep

I don't think Enzo staggered Haye, but I do agree with Dunky's pick of Wlad inside 2 rounds. I'd like Haye to win but don't see it, his punch power is overrated and i'm generally not sold on him, he's not beaten any top notch fighters. Not anyone near their prime anyway. Mormeck is probably his best win.
