Seriously Floyd haters. Stop naming Margarito and Cotto as guys Mayweather "ducked" Not only were these 2 fighters SUPREMELY OVERRATED. They were with Top Rank. Fights that were never going to happen.

IF you want legit opponents Floyd could have fought. Paul Williams, Winky Wright and Vernon Forrest are far superior opponents and not contracted under a snake like Arum.

But that would require some impartiality, and some of you are so far up Arums ass its a miracle he doesnt choke on your chins.

Cotto and Margarito are better opponents then Marquez. Only because we dont know how good Marquez is at welter yet.

However, they arent in the league of Mosley or Oscar in combination.

Margarito lost to Daniel Santos, Paul Williams, gets destroyed by Mosley

Cotto struggles at 140, barely gets by Mosley, gets destroyed by Margarito, gift vs Clottey, destroyed by Pacquiao.

That's an impressive run of fighting opponents coming off impressive wins.

It would be more impressive if he could add Manny Pacquiao to that list. I wonder why Floyd won't fight him.

No, bc Marquez was a career featherweight and had never fought at welterweight before. It was a given before the fight that he was way too small to beat Floyd.

:patsch:lol: Cotto beat Mosley .. a younger, better Mosley. Oscar was way way past his prime when Floyd fought him. That was just a money fight. Pac's victory over Cotto is better then anything Floyd has done since moving up to welter.

Pac is perfectly willing to take the same tests these opponents of Floyd's who were coming off sensational victories also took. :think

    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Ricky Hatton
    Oscar de la Hoya
    Carlos Baldomir
