    :good

Where as Pac just wait until they are over the hill or have already been exposed by Mayweather before fighting opponents

Mosley went to the Wild Card to get a fight with Manny after beating Margarito, Freddie said "No, you're too good right now", As soon as Mosley lost to Mayweather, Freddie was more than wiling to make the fight

    Freddie isn't a coach, he's a cherry picker

Yup. Pac ducked Mosley to fight Cotto, who beat Mosley.

    :hi:

So you're claiming Cotto is an A level fighter?

Thats not your argument. You're argument was. Floyd was "ducking threats". How was Floyd ducking threats when he fought better fighters?
Mosley was a better fighter with Nazim. He had massive problems with his father. Cotto edged him infront of a partisan crowd. Edged. As in barely won by like a round. Sorry, but no. Maywether beat a better more focused Mosley with a better trainer, and did it in dominating fashion.
Nonsense. Oscar had the size and massive wieght advantage over Mayweather. He was past his prime. But no shot. The Oscar Manny fought wa shot. The Oscar Floyd fought was coming off a Ko victory over Mayorga. The Oscar Floyd fought had 15lbs on him not the drained heap Manny fought.

He beat Oscar at his best weight at the time. Coming off a Ko victory.

And odds dont mean anything. Floyd was a 2-1 favorite I believe. Much less then any fight since. Floyd is always the favorite. No point in bringing odds into it. Floyd would be the favorite against Pac.
Nonsense. Oscar and Hatton were both legit threats.
Floyd wanted to fight Cotto and Margarito. Arum turned him down. He offered him 7 million to fight Cotto and Hatton and Margarito. Floyd wanted 20 million to fight Oscar, a much tougher opponent, Arum said he couldnt do it. Floyd broke away. Arum threw a tantrum. Floyd got 20 mil to fight Oscar lol.

Seriously it was an ESPn article posted many times. You should know your history.

Floyd could never deal with Arum. Instead he fought Mosley and Oscar 2 bigger threats then anyone in Arums stable save Pacquiao.
Nonsense. HE's beaten 3 P4P champions. 2 lineal titlests. And the man at the weight. Plus a 154lb Oscar. Its arguably the best resume of active welterweights today. Especially if he adds Ortiz.

    Lets reiterate

    1. Oscar and Mosley are far better opponents then Cotto and Margarito
    2. Top Rank is run by a snake that steals Pacquiao's money who Floyd would never deal with.
    3. You are showing your top rank bias by not mentioning Winky WRight and Vernon Forrest as potential Mayweather opponents when they were superior fighters to Margarito and Cotto.

So Floyd is a genius. He just waits until a guy gets lucky and wins a belt then pounces. He's gotten it right 7 times in a row.

I mean Mosley was lucky to beat Margarito. Margarito would have destroyed Floyd. Those wide looping punches. Man. The Tijuana Tornado!

Because he was the first fighter he asked. What does it matter? Manny declined the compromise, which was the same as what Floyd now demands of his opponents.

Isnt Ortiz all the way up to the fight now too?

He's proven himself as much as Clottey has. Whereas Cotto got a gift. Victor Ortiz won sensationally.

And why was Pac the first one to be asked? Of course Floyd has to cover his ass now by asking everyone else. And yes, It does matter. It matters because is it a question of Floyd trying to clean up boxing or simply trying to avoid the best fighter of this generation. Pac has accepted a reasonable blood test, reasonable meaning his chances of gettiong caught if he decided to cheat won't be significantly be different regardless of cutoff dates. He even accepted half the cutoff dates Floyd offered.

Manny is the first one to be asked because he is a featherweight blowing out welterweights.

And no it doesnt matter. If Manny has no fear of being caught cheating he would have taken the initial tests. If he was truly afraid of needles or blood superstition whatever he would have taken the compromise.

You are diverting from the subject. Mayweather said "take the compromise, or its all the way up to the fight"

Now why didnt Pacquiao call Floyds bluff if he was indeed trying to duck the fight.

You are basically insinuating Floyd is an evil genius.

    Lets recap.

    1. Floyd was on tv shows and talk shows promoting the fight.
    2. Floyd never mentioned blood tests on said tv shows
    3. Floyd agreed to all of Pacs demands, including a ludicrous weight penalty
    4. Floyd compromised and gave Pacquiao a 14-20 day window.

    Pacquiao refused all of this.

So essentially you are saying Floyd new Pacquiao would not only decline the initial testing, but also decline the compromise.

Basically Floyd is Omniscient. He knew Pac would decline all blood testing. :patsch

You can talk about cut off dates all you want. But Floyd said "Compromise or up to the fight". Pacquiao is essentially trying to save face. But Floyd said what he said. Why should he go back on his original statement? Pac declined the compromise which was reasonable considering Pac now wants the compromise. Why change?

There's no point arguing with these fools.

Mayweather is a great fighter, a great champion, and one of the best of this era. Like the man or not true boxing fans cannot deny his ability in the ring.
