Come on now Darkhorse that coin is flipped both ways. I don't think he should be suspended. In saying that, Cooper Cronk would fill the gap nicely. Thurston has a renowned history of getting off of referee charges. He will be fine I'm sure.
Gotta laugh at the cousin ****ers playing the victim mentality. It seems 30 years of bodgy refereeing going their way isn't enough. Now they want to get gimmes from the judiciary panel (not like they haven't already had them inthe past). It was an intentional act, and given his history, he should get suspended, though he is a protected species, and will no doubt get let off.
IMO, he deliberately ran into the referee in the hope that play would be called back and the try would be disallowed. The rules don't state that but when you only have a split second to make a decision, it wouldn't surprise me if this was his intention. How about that Valium?:hey

It's two weeks actually. Hope Gasnier plays the full 80 minutes, he's Queenslands best asset. Played some beautiful knock ons in the first two games. Waste of space really. :yep
