I understand your point but I don't mind paying abit more if its to see someone who you otherwise not. Joe Frazier was a good example,£60 for a meet and greet with him and a signed pic with him as well as the meal ,comedain etc is worth it. He might not come over again. Suagr Ray is the same.
Agree with this. But I went to a Tyson one a while back. It was £100 per ticket which was meant to include a photo. When we got there, it didnt and that was an extra £20 on top. The majority of the evening was taken up with an auction rather than Tyson speaking and when he did speak the MC thought it was his show and started asking Mike stupid questions (eg. Mike, would you consider signing for Everton? - no mess, this was a question put to one of the best heavies of all time). Tyson seemed like he wanted to actually speak when he was allowed but the MC kept cutting him short. That being said, I'm going to the Sugar Ray one and hope it's a bit better than the Mike one. I heard from people that went to the Joe Frazier one in liverpool recently that that was really good.
the goal posts have moved positively in a good way, ive been very lucky to work on a few tyson tours and there is now a lot more freedom as to what can happen at the shows with regards to questions as a while back you couldnt even talk about boxing to him, the shows are a great chance to meet legends etc but of course there not everyones cup of tea so there will always be haters

that would be a good show. I thin k one of the problems with putting these shows on is that it can cost quite a lot to hire the boxers especially when you add travel/accommodation etc on top. Up here in the north its only really viable to have a couple of shows a year as its a nightmare trying to sell enough tickets to make a profit. Ive seen a fair few fall through in recent years due to poor ticket sales and its a real shame as these shows are really good.
