I remember watching Manny getting knocked out and I had a headache for a week. I didnt want to eat or hang out with my girlfriend at the time. I almost gave up on Manny but Im glad I didnt because with the help of Coach Freddy he has turned himself into the GOAT. I have also come to the conclusion that those losses really dont mean anything to the real boxing fans. So how did you feel when your heros first got beat?

I cried for Conan, because he is Cimmerian, he does not cry.

The most hurtful losses for me were Bruno against Tyson, Hamed against Barrera and Hatton v Mayweather. Though to be honest i sorta knew Bruno and Hatton were not likely to win, Hamed i saw losing the fight round by round and not doing anything really about it, it was frustrating.

Though one of my hero,s biggest wins also left me feeling very empty which was Nigel Benn v Gerard McClellan. The best fight ive ever seen in my life too, just such an awful ending.

You're talking about Joe? Who would you compare Schmelings boxing style too?

I know I felt absolutely horrible. There I was in the kitchen yelling, "MOM, get off Dad. You're gonna break his toothbrush!"

the only fights to ever effect me were both the de la hoya-chavez fights, just a kid and i cried my heart out for my hero.
vargas-trinidad, i felt robbed because of the low blows. i felt like had that not happened he would have got a stoppage and qoulda had so much confidence for the oscar fight.
and when moralea shook his head against pac. i really cried morales qas my jesus lol. he was a mans man. win lose or draw hes not one to quit but that night, it wasnt the power but the speed that was to much for the legend that night. i cried like a baby.

I was depressed for about a month when mayweather beat Hatton, luckily my other favorite fighter was Calzaghe and well 46-0.

Probably go with Hatton Mayweather . Biggest fight the UK had seen in a long time. It was more the manner of the defeat , that Mayweather was soo much better than our best.

I cried tears of joy when Pacquiao beat Morales in the rematch. I was so nervous from that Saturday morning until the final bell. I knew at that moment that Pacquiao would be the GOAT.

    Yep

He has pretty much no equivalent at the HW level stylewise... He had a pretty unique style based around the 'opposite' of the boxing textbook IMO. He leads with right hands, fights out of a shell, good feinter, good counterpuncher, very awkward style. He could pressure or sit back in the pocket. The best comparison would be a Mayweather Jr./Archie Moore type. He really does have a very unique style, for any fundamental boxer he's a nightmare.
