i fantasized about the different ways i could kill aaron pryor. i also went over every possible excuse i could think of for why arguello lost and how he would kill pryor in a rematch. we all know how that turned out.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet, but Cotto vs Margarito was tough to watch. Cotto was such a tough/talented fighter that I think I convinced myself that he 1) was a good enough boxer that he could slip most of Margarito's punches and 2) he couldn't be hurt bad enough to be stopped - he would have to be knocked out to lose a fight. I'm still a huge Cotto fan, but I think that fight was the only time I've legitimately felt a little sickened by someone losing.

Taylor vs Pavlik was a little tough to watch, too, simply because Taylor is such a class act and I remember him being out on his feet in the corner as Pavlik threw an extra shot or two that caught him flush on his way down. I was worried that he was seriously hurt.

I was pissed off when Roy Jones got KO by Tarver like that. Me personally, I thought he should have retired after the first fight because I knew Tarver would give him problems. I didn't think he would get KO though. I was pissed for about a month. I was so mad when Hopkins lost to Taylor twice I thought it had to be a bad dream. But the one that pissed me off the most was Tyson vs Lewis. I was young at the time and I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. My second favorite fighter of all time in the corner saying that he couldn't let his hands go. That fight ****ed up my whole year. Anytime someone brought that up I got pissed.

Didn't watch de la Hoya vs Trinidad live as it was past my bed time back in 1999 but my Dad got it taped for me so I could watch it a day or two later. Gutted doesn't quite describe how I felt, I think that was my first encounter with depression.

When RJJ got knocked out by Tarver in the rematch, I was depressed for about a month.

He lost before that to DeJesus. I think you'd have to wait for Duranimal to give his view on that as he is by far the biggest Duran fan on the forum I think.

It wasn't a first defeat situation, but watching Gatti vs Mayweather was one of my toughest nights watching boxing.

I mean, I didn't think Gatti would win, but I figured he would pull some Gatti **** on Mayweather a little and keep it dangerous for Floyd but, but the utter domination from Mayweather was just crazy. And that beating was absolutely brutal, and to think it was a tko and not a ko shows what Gatti's heart was made of.

I almost broke my hand punching the floor I was sitting on half way through the fight.
