    The Holyfield - Tyson fight was a bad night.

    The rematch he allowed Tyson to bite Holyfield and continue.

    Throwing Hopkins out of the ring was god damn hilarious :lol:

    Yes he is. He did a superb job in just about every fight he was in, and he managed to keep control while being out of the picture for the most part.

    No question that he was a great referee. There are so many terrible referees nowadays - incompetant, crooked, trying to make themselves the center of attention instead of the fighters - or all of the above as in the case of Randy Neuman. But Judge Mills Lane was one of the great ones.

    Absolutely he was a great referee...with a great sense for the dramatic..almost like watching a combination boxing match and an episode of "Cops".

    Mills certainly wouldn't have stolen Meldrick Taylor's victory away from him. That alone makes him legend.
