Mayweather beat some very good fighters and beat everyone who was available to him.

If you wanted to see him fight top rank bum Marg, and Cotto, call Arum and ask him why he offered such a shitty deal, knowing damn well that Mayweather was worth way more than that, which he has prove by consistently making 20-40million per fight

Obviously Marquez doesn't count since his victory was 2 divisions below Mayweather. The last time Marquez achieved a sensational victory at the same weight class he fought Mayweather was... er, never. And Hatton's win was over a shot Castillo, and also at a lower weight class.

Except for Judah you can make a case he fought all of his championship fights against opponents who were coming of great victories.

Not really. Did you even read the thread. Its not just simply about comparing names, but its looking at the condition of the fighter at the time each man fought them.

    Let's just enjoy boxing.
    ESBers overanalyze too much.
Let's be grateful that we have
    Manny Pacquiao in our generation.
    Enjoy while it lasts.

you can take Floyds last three opponents look at their last two fights and you have a record combined of 6-0 with 5 knock outs....

Honestly though, in terms of Numbers Floyd is slightley above Pac when it comes to PPV events. I beleive this topic is the exact reason why, if Manny started taking fights like that, Beleive me his numbers will embarress Floyd...

Not true, Mexican fans started falling in love with Mannys style the moment he beat the living day lights out of Barrera, that style would have genorated fans no matter how you look at the Mayweather issue.
Roach would have still fine tuned Manny over the years to become an over all better fighter.... Manny still would be where he is today with or with out Floyd.

Wasn't that the reason Roch wanted Pacman to fight DLH??

When Mayweather beat Mosley he was coming off a big victory over Margo, when Pacman fought Mosley he was coming off a ass whooping from Mayweather himself and a shitty performance against the one and only Sergio Mora.

What boxing are you watching? It was Oscar who catapulted Pacman.
