Unless he wins, who is Wlad going to fight next? Everything after will be so anti-climactic. If Haye won, it would set up a huge anticipation for a rematch or a fight with Vitali. However, when he loses, this new interest in the Heavyweights will fade, at least in North America and UK im guessing. Over in Europe, there will still be anticipation for another Cruiser vs heavy fight with Adamek and Vitali, but not like the Haye fight. Unless Wlad retires as Champion with Vitali right after the Adamek fight, then the flood gates will open, there will be brand new interest, as the mediocre American Heavyweights will suddenly be the best in the world, and everything will be relative. But imagine if Wlad comes out of retirement after a new champ is crowned and regains his title? I would think that would cement his legacy for even the posters on here that dislike or hate the man.

Vitali Klitchko v David Haye - "Revenge" Although if Haye wins, then retires as he says, Klitchko would win the WBA belt facing some other fat American and that would be that. :-( No matter what happens, Klitchkos will have all 4 belts and once they retire we will have the worst Heavyweight champions of all time holding all 4 belts
Exactly. The 'Haye winning will benefit HW boxing' crowd keep overlooking this simple fact. He'll be ****ing off into retirement straight after, so what good will that do?

Super I think, it doesnt matter because thats the belt that matters, the only belt left is vitali's wbc. I agree with your opinion if haye would continue in the division but he seems to push for retirement, another scenario is that he wins but refuses to fight wlad or vitali and just goes defending in England. Either way boxing loses, so therefore im rooting for wlad to win and establish klitschko dominance in the division, him losing would make the klitschko era look very weak. Im neutral but wlad winning is best for boxing.
Same with marquez/rios and khan/maidana dont even start on middleweight which is a total mess, this isnt a new move or anything, its disgusting that they keep adding belts though, like 4 titles isnt enough already, the sanctioning bodies are acting like a real cancer to the sport.
I hope Haye can win, but I would like to see him take a few punches just to legitimize him as a real heavyweight. If he just lands a quick right and the fight is over, that would not be so great.
If he wins it would be great for the HW division,He wouldnt retire but fight the brother then it gives the divison at least a year to find other prospects
