I think we should compare mag's top 30 all time with Frankenfrank's top 30 all time and watch them argue with each other to justify their rankings

Mag claimed there were some 25 fighters greater than Duran.

When asked which ones, he declined to name them.

That loses him the argument, regardless of whether or not Teeto made a list.


And besides, Teeto (as he told you several times), posted a whole series of lists.

You don't say everything over again every time a new poster joins up.

And Teeto has lost more boxing knowledge in one good booze-up than Mag has demonstrated so far on here.

 

The pedantic picking at poor spelling would be a bit pathetic if it was the norm.

But the sheer irony of someone babbling on about 'hypocrit' when they clearly don't know the meaning of the word, nor how to spell it, calls for a jab.

the only one I may question is Delahoya who did not have many ATG wins either, but he should have gotten the nod against Tito and was more competitive than Duran in Oscar's fights with Mosley, compared to Duran vs. Hearns or Benitez. Most guys on that list moved up and fought at different styles to beat versatile fighters. My point was that Duran had to have Leonard fight his fight to beat him. He couldn't beat Ray if Ray were boxing. I think you guys know this. After June 1980, Ray would have beaten Duran probably 9 out of 10 times. It isn't that Duran just lost to Leonard,Hearns and Benitez, it is that he was outclassed.

 

Honestly, I am not sure any of you guys added together have defended Duran well. I know if someone insults Hearns I come up with facts to prove he was great. And I admitted Hearns beating Andries was not a great win, but he beat Virgil Hill a few years later.

 

I don't spend too many hours on here. I only have 9,000 or so posts in a little short of 3 years. If I was on here all the time I would probably have 60,000 by now. Where did you come from Ricky?

 

I have barely seen you on here and you say I live on ESB? I post on ESB the same amount of time anyone else does. It relaxed me and I like to see the responses. Nothing wrong with that. A fool is a person who makes this sort of comment.
