I don't follow MMA and we're having a wonderful boxing year thus far.

No. Two men wearing tight little panties rolling around together until one of them gets an erection and gets all embarrassed with his bad self and taps out, will never rival The Sport Of Kings!

The sport of boxing is as immortal as the legends that made it what it is.

the ufc is one giant corporate business
dana white is the new vince mcmhaon
he says who should fight who, bringing the same tired as names so someone will notice the 900 ppv cards they have now...

mma is more than ufc,,,, UFC is no different than the WBC....there are alot of other fighters who have a heavyweight title, just not the ufc heavyweight title

Not at all, it's a well established fact MMA has dropped in popularity, whereas it had a "boom" a good two-three years ago.

Meanwhile, boxing has kept on trucking like it always did. :smoke

Boxing's had a great year so far with consistently great match-ups and upsets, with a few super-fights looming on the horizon, and what I keep hearing about from MMA fans is disappointment from boring fight cards.

The nice thing about UFC, which owns Strikeforce is that it's all under one roof, and White puts the best matches out there that the public wants to see.His marketing efforts for that venue in the last 10 years, and what he has built is very impressive. This will never happen, but it would be nice to have it all consolidated like the UFC, so the most marketable matches occur. Sides, both can co exist, since they have a similar, yet slightly different fan base.

can't wait for the silva/Hector Lombard fight oh wait it won't happen unless the ufc buys out bellator

  12. MMA is at its peak....it will always have its Niche fanbase but wont get any bigger than it is now

Boxing is at a relatively low point at this moment (in terms of household names your granny would recongnise) but is still filling Football stadiums for Wlad vs Haye and Pac-Man vs Margarito plus getting record PPV numbers.....UFC will never be a major competitor for Boxing

Did you see the last MMA fight?

Werdum just laid around like a homosexual. He didn't even try to fight, and while I'm not saying this is a great aspect because of it's brutality, Overeem who himself has garbage boxing ability, was not allowed to kick Werdum who was desperate for Overeem to lay on his chest and snuggle against him like a PURE HOMOSEXUAL. This put a TRUE fighter at a disadvantage.

Luckily for viewers, except for the majority of MMA audience which is in my estimation about 95% homoerotic due to the fact that they pay half naked men to roll around with them like homosexuals, Overeem was not gay himself and did everything in his power to get away from that PURE HOMOSEXUAL Werdum.

Unfortunately though, Overreem was slow, uncoordinated, had limited reflexes and horrible defense and would be knocked out in less than 30 seconds by Iron Mike.

Supposedly, he has the best stand up in all of MMA.
