You know what the more I hear people talking about how gay MMA looks seem to come across as very confused and insecure themselves! If that is the first thing that comes to mind when watching MMA then you're probably kinda gay yourself. Since when has all out fighting been considered gay? when you see 2 guys grapple and throw each other around on the street are you thinking once he gets on top of him he's gonna stick his dick in him or you thinking ****, this guy is beating the **** out of this other guy. MMA is fighting in its purest form and I can appreciate the skills and techniques involved in this sport. Pity that some very confused and insecure individuals are looking out for perversion for some weird reason. Those who are participating in it probably even have girlfriends you jack off to when you are online. If you really want to make comparisons, seeing 2 grown men hugging each other with their arms around the other, the likes of Hopkins himself loves to do can look pretty gay as well when you think about it. Wlad loves a good hug too. So basically yeah proves my point you can look for this **** in both sports but can we just grow up a little?? I seen as many boring and hug filled boxing matches as I have seen boring MMA matches.
Like it or not MMA is on a much sharper growth curve than boxing. Thankfully they are very different and MMAs growth may not overly impact on boxing.

All jokes aside, just how the **** can you be entertained by a man sitting on top of another man, while he repeatedly punches him in the face until the ref stops it? If I wanted to see that, I'd hang around outside a local pub. It has no elegance, it has no real substance or long term staying power. They refer to Rampage Jackson VS Rashard Evans (I think thats his name) as one of the most entertaining fights in the history of the sport!!! Its insane, the fight is slightly entertaining. If boxing was on better mainstream channels and if it was given more coverage by the media, MMA/UFC wouldn't even come close. Boxing isn't dying, its just under appreciated.
I hate MMA but to think it's not a threat is stupid. Alphabet titles/promoter grudges and network can-feeding aren't helping...that much is for certain. Perhaps it's now up to the fans to no longer recognise the alphabet titles??

The posted this **** initially in the boxing forum. I was letting boxing fans know that they weren't missing out on anything. And with Werdum's performance, am I wrong? The only word I can think of to describe it is, DISGUSTING.
That's true about White. While I despise is that UFC almost makes MMA a monopoly and pays their top fighters shards. But a few things I give them props on, 1. Their low tier fighter could make more than a low tier boxer. The boxing game is dirtier and comprised of a lot of crooks. 2. Because the UFC is the recognized MMA company and most of the top MMA fighters fight under that company, they are all forced to fight each other and even Lesnar don't make enough fight-wise to promote his own fights. Imagine if Floyd had to fight Pacquiao or leave whatever top boxing company box under a lesser promotion getting less money if he doesn't?
