When do the official Mosley-manny PPV #s come out?

    Cotto-manny did 1.25mil, arum claimed it did 1.6mil
    marg-manny did 1.15mil, arum claimed it did 1.5mil

    It has been way over a month, and we still haven't seen any official numbers.

    Could it be 1.3mil - 400,000 = 900,000? 400,000 is the difference between what arum claimed for Cotto and marg and what actually happened.

    So..... are you still impressed? I thought it'd do 1.3 to 1.4 million b/c of CBS's involvment and the fact that PAC had a NAME as a dance partner.

    I think Bob is looking to broaden his horizons by pitting the two Cable giants against one anther to fight for PAC. he recently had a meeting with CBS and Showtime again to see what kind of offer they'll come to the table with since HBO has been forced to invest more capital into promoting boxing with the addtion of "Turner Broadcasting Systems".

    This is great for boxing! Both HBO and SHO are looking to push boxing MORE!

    It's bob arum claiming that it did 1.3mil.

    I'm still interested in official numbers released from the network. Writers putting that it did 1.3mil according to bob arum in their articles isn't official.

    SHO typically NEVER release their own statement on PPV numbers. But it's safe to say that they are aware of Bob's release of how much the official numbers were and would NOT allow for inaccurate information to be released as it would be a bad reflection on the Network.

    It's official.....1.3+ Million in PPV for the PAC/Shane fight.

    The final numbers have been tallied and counted..... If you're waiting for Showtime to make a press release on the PPV buy rate you'll be waiting a long time. lol.. I'm sure there are some still waiting on Showtime to make an "official" announcment of the PPV buy Rate for the Tyson vs Holy fights which Showtime has yet to release.

    Then it would be safe to say that HBO has allow other promoters to exaggerate PPV buys including the record setting fight between DLH vs Floyd.

    Padding ppv declarations is stupid. They get taxed and shares of revenue is based on that. Now under declaring ppv's makes sense if you want to undercut taxes or your partners and others who takes a percentage cut off it.
