At least Forlan showed glimpses of ability. whats barrea done? had a few good games against amateur players from El salvador.

 

I think Chicarito is the most overrated player in the world. lol He hasn't done **** all gold cup but they still say he's the best. Dos Santos is Mexicos best player. He proves it time and time again but they give credit to chicarito. wtf?

 

Because Hernandez has had a good season & scored goals in the League & Champions League.

Dos Santos hasnt shined at one club he's been at so far and shown very little other then when he's played for his country

 

Man i dont know if youve been watching the Gold Cup but all the big plays come from Dos Santos. Can somebody even name a play Chicarito has done this Gold Cup? Though i have to give it to him, he knows how to score.

 

Yeah but that's the point, Dos Santos job is to sit in the hole and feed the forward/forwards whereas all Hernandez does is put the ball in the back of the net & hold up play and link up with the midfield so thats why he doesnt set anything up

 

That's true but he's missed a **** load of goals. I guess im jus mad cuz they hype him but never give props to Dos Santos. lol

 

Exactly. The EPL is tough because of the strenght and size and Barrera is not a big guy. I have always said if Messi went to the EPL he would not be scoring as much as he normally does in Spain.

 

Well he does get alot of credit but every goal scorer does. Its true about all the credit he gets. For example last nights games he got the player of the match when Barrera had 2 well technically 1 assits and De Nigris had 1 goal and the other assist. It should have gone to either of them.

Dos Santos has been doing ok but i see Barrera generating nearly all the dangerous plays. I think i heard somewhere that Juve were looking at him.

Dos Santos was just finiding his Niche the second half of last season with Racing in spain. a think he's perfect there for a mid table club like Racing or Malaga he seems to wilt under the expectations of a big club or he could even go back to Mexico i'm sure he could thrive back home if he gets sick of Europe.
