Lopez is the better fighter...but Caballero has the better wins.

Pretty close now..but anytime it looks like JuanMa is about the take him over for resume..they step him back a level.

Cause he does...deeper list of names.

    Ortega
Valbuena (gave MAB a pretty good fight in his prime, only other fighter he had lost to recently was Izzy)
Pastrana (former light fly champ, challenged for at least 2 other titles before he took on CC. He was past it but a proven fighter)
Parra (former flyweight champ, pretty bloody good fighter at his best aswell)
Sithchatchawal (was in 2006 FOY, Celestino destroyed him)
Molitor (unbeaten and held the IBF title when CC beat him)

And there are a couple of other guys who are decent fighters but arent really worth mentioning..JuanMa fought a few guys on a similar level, though probably not as many.

JuanMa really has only two notable wins...one of which is over a guy Caballero already dominated anyway.
Lopez's opposition prior to him winning the title was only so-so...The next two guys he fought after he won it were fairly **** weak.

Gerrie is a fine scalp...Better then any one win Caballero has.

But overall I dont think its hard to see, even if its close now..CC has been around longer and though he has run hot and cold, he has some solid wins on his record.

Caballero assuming Marquez and Vazquez moved up. And despite that, I would pick JuanMa to beat Caballero; Cab is on top because he has a better resume

    1. Lopez

    2. The winner of Dunne V Poonsawat

    3. Caballero

This is my reasoning for picking Dunne/Poonsawat over Caballero :

Caballero beats Molitor to become super champ, he then defends against 2 bums (one of which actually beat him but didn't get the decision).

Dunne beats Cordoba (who beat Caballero btw) to become ordinary champ and is now facing the no 1 contender for the title, Kratingdaenggym while old Pelechin is struggling with the likes of Jeffrey Mathebula.

caballero, he's done more at 122 than lopez. lopez is a better fighter though and i wish he'd stop being a ***** and fight someone with a pulse and man up and fight cabballero (even though i think he'd beat caballero it'd be by far his best opponent to date and would be no gimme fight he could def lose if not on his game).
