I only gave Munroe the 4th, I think. Sure there were some tight rounds, but Nish always seemed to be a step ahead even in those, landing the harder, faster, flashier and more accurate punches and combos. Brilliant bloody footwork at times as well, which enabled him to avoid many of Munroe's lunges. No shame in being outclassed by that guy. Nishioka really impressed me, and Munroe can come again.
No. I thought he was badly outclassed. The gulf between them was huge. People were saying on the round by round thread that Munroe won the 2nd but in my mind Nishioka won it clearly. There was a lot of bias floating about and Banjo was basically exaggerating it to fuel what seems to be a bizzare anti brit agenda. I really don't know where these people get off? I can't imagine anything more boring than creating a deliberately obnoxious online alter ego.:-( He's already om my ignore list and is the sort of person who'd be got rid of if we had a british mod. I will give the 4th another look though.
He was outclassed, I still gave him the 4th though. I'd guess thats the round the 3 judges gave him as well.
Just watched the 4th again and its very close. You could score it either way. Munroe harried and outworked the champ but was a bit scrappy and untidy. Nishioka landed some very hurtful rights to the body. The difference in punching power was quite stark. I just prefer the cleaner work of the champ.
**** off and grow up, i called something wrong, get over it. As some have already stated, the majority of people had the scorecards wide. I'll be the first to hold my hands up if im wrong, which is probably more than what you could manage, now **** off to the general instead of trading cheap insults here.
the only person being insulting is you to be honest. Forgive me for having a different opinion. Getting something wrong happens all the time but for soooo many people from his home country to get it wrong, and so very wrong, surely it cant be a coincidence, can it?
Excuse me for being offended but you did call me delusional and a laughing stock, which was pretty uncalled for, i asked for an opinion not for insults, grow up in future.
This, at least he wasnt the only guy to reply, at least i know i was wrong via posters i respect and have a far more valued opinion.:good
:dealGOOD LAD if you need me to point you in the right direction before making an arse of yourself on the open forum feel free to pm me your ignorance is forgiven!
119-109 is about right, although it was a closer fight than the scoring suggests. Munroe just came up slightly short in a fair few close rounds. Nishioka did win a couple of big rounds though.
