What a turn around from each teams very first pool game.. OZ and NZ flog some cabdrivers The POMS and French Fries get ko'd by tough opponents. So who was really better off?? The weak pool draw for the two so called big guns really came back to bite em on the ass.. Didnt get to experience tough (ko stage like) games throughout the pool's like the poms and french.. Ohwell I want the argies to win it as got 2bucks on them(big spender) BUT be cheering the fijians on as they play exciting rugby YAWNION...
There is a big edge to the English and French club rugby as well, sure it is no where near as exciting as super 14, but because of relegation virtually every match means something and the fact there is no big fat contracts for their respective Unions given out to the best players, it gives them a hunger that perhaps paid off today?

Im a rugby league man myself and to see lote tiqiri(spelling) get 1million bucks a year nearly made me choke on my weetbix.. Awesome player who doesnt hardly see the ball but **** hes a winger.. 1million dollar winger who scored 1try in the worldcup.. I was watching the fiji vs wales game and i seen atleast 2 bloke Delasi(spelling) rebenai(spelling) Who can do everything lote can and some....Thus far in the world cup delasi(*spelling) has been probably one of if not the best outside back in the tourny.. Dont know how i got to talking up fijian flyers but im just pissed that 1guy can be on more $$$$ than a whole team combined though the weaker nation players are doing a better job..
I just watched the game thinking get some rugby league players out there. The skill level in rugby is aweful.
I love the forwards in union the most.They struggle to even run 10yards let alone pass a ball.They are a bunch of boneheads. Im glad to see gregan goneski.They bloke is obsessed with playing to the blindside or short with his forwards. I would be filthy if i were a outside back with that bloke running the show.. I know what you mean, but I can see things in Union that make it more of a spectacle to watch. I'd rather league myself, but perhaps If I wasn't so passionate about Souths, who knows. New Zealand choked though, so Rugby is awesome. :yep

True. A rugby forward wouldn't last 20 minutes in league. Andrew Walker was also nothing special in league. I don't even think he came close to having rep honours, but at union he cemented his spot in the Australian team.
