    april 12th marks the 12th anniversary of the dlh v whitaker bout. it should start some fresh debating on the subject

    I thought DeLaHoya deserved the victory over Whitaker. He was a little busier and seemed to outwork the Pea just a bit.

    Had it by a point for Sweet Pea myself.

    Clear rounds imo were:

    Whitaker: 1,5,9,11
    DLH: 2,3,8,12

    Contested rounds were 4,6,7 and 10

    I gave DLH round 4 and Whitaker rounds 6 and 10.

    Called round 7 even.

    Depending on what you like you could probably have it a 4 point fight either way. Any wider and it's plain bias.

    I'm still pissed off that there wasn't a rematch, though Whitaker only really has himself to blame for becoming addicted to coke and passing up the twilight of his career.
