Guzman at the time when he beat Soto against Brandon Rios today. Who wins?

  2. Guzman's fat ass wouldn't be able to make weight. His career is basically over.

The Guzman of the Soto fight had the ability to make Rios look stupid. Such a waste of talent.....

Guzman was and still is a huge talent. I think he'd school Rios without much trouble at his best, but we very rarely saw him at his best, and Rios would break down the lazy, bloated version of Guzman that has been on display in recent years.

Never realized how good he was. I've only seen his "fat fights".

At 140, I would pick Guzman.

I voted for Rios, but I assumed you were talking about todays version of Guzman. at first. A prime Guzman probably wins a decision.

It's surprising how crazy people are going over Rios. I mean he's an action fighter but an A level talent like Guzman would school him. Rios has no regard for defense. Guzman would catch him coming in till he takes him out.

Guzman is one of the most talented fighters of the last 15 years. That may seem overstated, but Ive I really feel he was that gifted. Also one of the biggest wasted talents and underachievers in boxing the last 15 years.

Hard to want to even give Guzman any credit these days considering how his career has unfolded; however, his style of boxing is probably all wrong for Rios. Unlikely though that the Joan of present could turn in the type of performance needed to upset Bam Bam, much less make the weight.

Prime Guzman was a beast, and at that point he was already a little past prime. Guzman schools that type of fighter every day of the week though.
