I have to think that mostly likely Pryor grinds him down, I don't think Buchanan could hold him off or had the stuff to seriously hurt Pryor.
This is close. Duran only stopped Ken because of a low blow. Duran was better than Pryor defensively, and El Cholo also applied a far more dedicated body attack. Both would hit the deck in this one. Ultimately, boxing science prevails over relentless pressure. Buchanan by close 15 round UD.
Why is it that every time Buchanan is matched up with a puncher everyone thinks it's a given that (provided they pick the other fighter) Ken won't survive the distance? He was incredibly tough and resilient.
for me he is just a very good european style boxer ,i dont see anything special to be honest .but am aware everybody see's things differently but for me as a great man once said about buchanan he is no benny valgar
Buchana is tough as hell, and good defensivly. I just dont like him in the face of such a relentless attack where he dosent have the tools to hold it of. He dosent have the punch to keep Pryor off and Pryor's athletic ability make it hard for Buchanan to 'outbox' him. A Pryor UD sort of 10-5
Im not of the opinion Pryor just runs right through Kenny because he doesnt have much power. I think Kenny's skills and movement are going to really give Aaron a hard time. And he is just not some boxer type that will break as soon as you catch up to him..as already mentioned he is tough as nails, and very proven in this regard. He isnt going to be standing right there like Arguello was and giving Pryor spots to tee off on him...He is smart enough to know what the best gameplan will be for this fight. But Pryor wins it fairly comfortably on the cards IMO..10-5'ish sounds about right. Too quick, unconventional and intense for Ken to do much offensively..He will hang in there all the way but I cant see him overcoming Pryor with what he has.
