New Year, New Boxing? Just curious of everyone's take on what could or will happen for boxing in 2022.

Feel free to post what you think will happen this year? Huge bouts, a new P4P great, prospect to be a champion, new rules, legacy and career guesses, all is fair game.

What do you think will happen for Boxing in 2022?

This is subjective predictions, so no hard feelings at all. All in good fun.

    - If Canelo beats Makabu for the WBC strap, I am certain (or at least a good feeling) that he can use his WBC championship status to go up and challenge for the new Bridgerweight division to both grant it legitimacy and name recognition for a new division.

    - Oscar De La Hoya will have a "triller type" bout and be beat via tko or ko.

    - Wilder vs Joshua

    - Anderson Silva will box again for a PPV card

    - A "New George Foreman" aka an older champion recaptures the title and thrusting them into the public eye.

    - Spence vs Crawford

    - Josh Taylor (undisputed 140) will challenge whomever is Undisputed at 147 or at least call them out proper.

    - Donire vs Inoue II

Spence will continue to duck Crawford, hey that prediction has worked for the last 3 years.

Usyk will KO Apple Juice badly.

Fury will lose a decision to Usyk and he will be the greatest fighter if his generation

Usyk to KO Joshua in the rematch.

    Crawford vs. Spence won't happen.

Fury to fight only once, against an underwhelming opponent.

Chisora to get a win, then retire.

Josh Taylor KO's Terence Crawford. That's my boldest prediction. Said it in another thread, I'll repeat it here.

Usyk-AJ rematch happens and I think Usyk knocks a reckless AJ out, maybe 6th, 7th or 8th rounds I think.

No Fury-Usyk and no Crawford-Spence, resulting in riots on the streets and violent chaos everywhere.

Demetrius Andrade is ducked yet again by Jermall Charlo, who moves up to 168 to fight my dead cat instead. The cat resurrects itself and slaps Jermall round the ring to punish him for his shocking behaviour and then goes back into his grave to feast on some chicken.

Tank fights an Inactive midget in Gary Russell Jr and calls it a legitimate win, while Ryan Garcia tells everyone on Instagram that he beat Isaac Cruz more convincingly than Tank, and then says he's got a mental health issue and a sore toe.

Adrien Broner has a tune-up fight to avoid Conor Benn, who ends up fighting Avanesyan instead. Benn proceeds to get his butt kicked by Avanesyan and the hype train is suddenly ended. Fish Eyes kicks Benn while he's down in order to dump all over Hearn.

Lerrone Richards and Hughie 'Shades of Ali' Fury continue to tuck us all in for the night and sing us a lullaby so we can all have a great night's sleep.
