**** 'em. Tightwads.... They might air these programs free to non-subcribers to to and get them to sign up. They did similar with Hatton-JLC.
i think they'll show it free, however wouldn't they get more from it showing on say IT4 or channel 5 or something although it would probabily cost them too much
first its not their program 2. the whole point is to sell the fight 3. as many subcribers to setanta as possible 4. what will get them more people 24/7 on setanta 1 or a channel with more viewers? 5. setanta are not about viewing figures, but getting people to join you ****ing idiot
But answer this: WHY would another channel put this show on their channel when they don't have the main event?
uuurrrrr let me see.......viewing figures do you know why HBO have it on a sunday? because it gets great figures i bet channel 5 would get their highest ratings from a 24/7 show, its a win win situation
I don't think channel 5 would get there best ratings from this show! Now a boxing fight is aimed at the general public (casual fans) whilst a show promoting a fight is aimed at a niche market (fans of boxing) so they would not be gaining great viewing figures.
