4-man tournament for the undisputed champion.
Kabayel vs. Gasiev and Hrgovic vs. Dubois, but consider all the options...

    Kabayel vs. Dubois and
    Hrgovic vs. Gasiev

    Kabayel vs. Hrgovic and
    Dubois vs. Gasiev

Who would be the undisputed champion in each of these options?

I favour Hrgovic, he seems to have developed more stamina and he digs in now. I think he can reverse the Dubois loss.

We can absolutely write Gassiev off; all the others are more or less evenly matched...

    Dubois has the resume
    Hrgovic has the chin
    Kabayel has the zero

Kabayel probably wouldn't sign up for it... But let's assume he did.

It's realistically between Dubois and Kabayel - Hrgovic and Gassiev aren't really in it.

If Kabayel's as good as he looks, Dubois probably quits or gets stopped... But Dubois has so much more to his resume its entirely possible he finds a way to win.

It’s a very nice matchup I suspect gassiev might be overmatched here but he has power so anything can happen. Would be good if this actually happens. I honestly can’t pick a winner think each does have a good chance of taking it depending on how their attributes mesh on the night

I feel Dubois is a bad match up for Kabayel, on top of Kabayel's somewhat thin record - especially for a belt holder. Kabayel's style invites a massive uppercut KO waiting to happen, and I can see Dubois causing that.

Could see Hrgovic winning a 12 round against Dubois if he doesn't get cut early. But Kabayel is tricky for Hrgovic style-wise IMO.

    Gassiev has no chance really.

I also see dubois as the toughest matchup for kabayel with his in-and-out. He has speed and a great jab to pepper kabayel with.

What makes me think kabayel could take dubois out is just how solid he is, how calm he fights, e.g. pushing zhang in the early rounds when he was still fresh and just resuming to do so after getting knocked down.

That is the kind of stuff that might make dubois question himself. But it's an intriguing 50-50 for me.

I think kabayel beats hrgovic because he is not as slow as him and can slow him down even more with body shots. Also he can take anything hrgovic can give and go the rounds easily.

My gut tells me hrgovic beats dubois in a rematch. He is highly motivated, trains for great stamina, trusts in abel sanchez and beat dubois' jab in the first fight to win the early rounds in their first encounter before getting cut. So why wouldn't he be even better? Then again dubois got better, too. Would be a great matchup.

I think everyone beats gassiev. He is slow, has no footwork and can be hit easily. He already lost to wallin. He has the most beautiful combination Work of all four fighters, but has to stand in front of his opponent to use it and take damage getting there.

Gassiev should really be replaced by Frank Sanchez. And it's not just a matter of Gassiev doesn't deserve to be in the tournament whoever gets to fight Gassiev pretty much gets bye into final.
