Well done Campbell, deserved winner.

Nevin looked a bit flustered. He seemed to be trying too hard. Maybe he thought he had to win convincingly against a home fighter. Wasn't his best performance but Campbell kept hitting him with long straight shots.

Thought Nevin won the second by a few points but the right man won. Campbell fought with a great game plan. Him winning the first round meant Nevin had to be the aggressor which suited him. Better man won, no complaints.

Both guys should go on to big things.

 

Guess who had £40 on Campbell, 2.66 on Betfair thank you very much.

 

Should have put it on with Paddy Power for real "how'd you like them apples" kudos.

 

I don't go with those paddy pricks, they still owe me £200 which they refuse to pay out on.

 

I'd say he'd rather the better odds.

Anyway, rd 1 was crucial. Whoever led after rd 1 had a distinct advantage from then.

I thought begins rd 2 performance deserved more points, but other than that no real complaints..

 

Gutted for Nevin, thought he was unlucky to be a point down going into last but over the three rounds the better man won. Well done Campbell, boxed to a perfect game plan and got a thoroughly deserved win!!

Campbell won the first well, second was to Nevin and Campbell took the 3rd in comfortable enough fashion.

Very impressive win, Rose to the occasion and boxed very well. Nevin let the moment get to him early IMO. The leg flicking to me seemed like he was tense. Once he got down to work he won the second but Campbell then turned it up a notch with some nice single shots.

I expect Nevin to win a world or olympic title if he stays AM.
