You're a ****** if you think a prime DLH loses to a 38 year old Mosley. DLH clearly outboxed a younger, juiced up Mosley in the rematch.

A prime Trinidad also absolutely destroys a 38 year old Mosley. The 34 year old DLH of the Mayweather fight would also be no match for a prime Trinidad.

Duran would send Ortiz to the hospital and to the psychiatrist's chair, and he'd likewise force Judah to quit and outbox the 38 year old Mosley. The 2007 DLH was washed up and would be unable to beat Duran too.

You're a delusional moron if you honestly believe the **** you type up.

In effect, you're arguing guys better than Floyd that he only beat because he was close to his prime while they were washed up would beat young, prime versions of those same greats.

Seriously, why do you even bother posting?

Lol, the version of Mosley that Mayweather fought wasn't a threat to any ATG. Just a shadow of his former self.

This. And yet, that's still one of Floyd's best wins above 135. It shows how thin his resume above 135 really is.

I don't like the idea of this thread.

De la Hoya could do it. But he is much bigger than Floyd. I know he started at 130, but let's be realistic: Hoya is bigger. Same for Leonard.

Duran could go 43-0 against Floyd's opponents.

    Robinson could do it also.

Pacquiao would probably lose against Marquez.

That was still a good version of Mosley, although totally different to the prime 135 version.

The 2010 Mosley was a long way away from the version Cotto fought, and even further away from the 2000 Mosley that beat DLH.

He was at the very least quite faded by the time Mayweather got around to fighting him, and was shown to be even more shot than previously thought in his very next fight against Sergio Mora.

Good name to have on your record? Yes, sure. But a big win? Considering when it happened, not really.

Thats the funny thing about his career. His most consistently solid "looking" record (name wise) is at the higher weights where he's not been at his best weight. IMO 140 could have been his best weight but he never stayed there long enough for us to find out. AS it stands his best weight was 135 lbs. He's definitely one of the best 135 lbers of all time.

You watch this fight and you tell me how exactly a clown like Broner compares to Floyd at 135? The guy is an ugly shadow of floyd, nothing more....

You keep mentioning Mosley but you're not taking into an account that the Mosley Mayweather fought was way past it. These fighters could all beat the old Mosley that May fought.

Broner is nothing compared to Floyd. Floyd has superior lateral movement, speed, and reflexes compared to Broner. Broner might appear to have better power, but even that's not proven against a high level of opposition.

Broner has mostly relied on the high shoulders guard to walk flat footed towards his opponent to get more leverage on that wide, powerful left hook of his. He lacks the refinement Floyd. That's worked well on coked-out midgets like Eloy Perez, and he was huge at 130 so he could get away with that, but I doubt he's able to do that kind of thing on DeMarco or anybody at 140. He'll have to rely much more on movement and the jab if he wants to have continued success at the higher weights.
