He was awesome last night, one of the best fights Ive ever seen in WSB I remember him being more aggressive at the Olympics but last night he looked very effective on the back foot, punching on the move & countering well. He's pure entertainment & always fun to watch, hopefully he turns pro after the WSB season finishes in May. My only problems with last nights performance are that he doesnt still have that mental haircut & there was no celebratory dancing. He did put on a massive hat though
He's a good boxer but rarely shows it. He used his footwork, defense and counter punching quite a bit more in this fight than we usually see but was still very exciting. The hat is called a Papakha, Kozak's wore it but its a common winter hat all over. He cut his Chupryna off because his hair gets curly when its long. Ukrainian tournament in 2011. You can see from that Lomachenko would toy with him if they were going all out. Berinchyk is very fun to watch, I hope he can develop his power more and hopefully his chin holds up against top opposition as a pro, he could be something special.
