so is the 4th of september going to be a great night for scottish boxing or another big disappointment ? being scottish i think it will be a great night and think both ricky burns and john simpson will be victorious. i have known of both these fighters since they were kids and always knew they could go far!! time for them both to shine and make scottish boxing proud. come on the scots!!
about time us Scots were optimistic for a change, we know our national football team is shite and usually expect the worst to happen, but 4th Sept the Kelvin Hall will be rocking, its time to push our boys to victory and not only get our 1st Scottish world champion in years, but to get another British world champion.!! c'mon the Rickster!
Simpson will stop Smith - I've never been more certain about anything in my life. But Smith will come back better for it. The Burns fight will go one of two ways. Burns will box the fight of his life, the plan will come together, he'll frustrate the hell out of Martinez and the fans will cheer him on to a famous victory. Or Ricky will be nervous early on and Martinez will jump on him and stun him and stop him early. Personally, RICKY WILLL THE BOX THE FIGHT OF HIS LIFE AND DO IT!!!

Stephen Smith will survive a late onslaught from Simpson to win on points. Ricky burns won't survive a late onslaught from Martinez to lose by KO. Just my opinion of course Am just hoping for two great fights. Its a start of a great couple of months for domestic boxing so lets hope for a quality night.
