Nah... I KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that Bika could not win the SS, so he has no business there - although he is a really really good fighter! But the SS is just too much, we know this for certain. Bute could be in, but I am happy with Taylor and Dirrell in.
I'm not that big on Bute. Anyway, he needs to prove himself against Andrade before he has any business in the Super Six.
SHOWTIME's audience is the US, they are the biggest player in the tournament, no more explanations necessary....
you remove them two for bika and bute!!! what is wrong with you! the only boxers who should be in is maybe bute and andrade, thats instead of ward and dirrel. how is ward too much of a threat!!!! stieglitz wont be champ for long, although 'd love to see him an andrade rematch!

I think Dirrell has a chance. I agree that he hasn't done anything to "earn" his way in, but, I think he is a live dog in this tournament. And from a betting perspective, I find it very interesting that while Dirrell is the biggest dog in the tournament, he is the smallest underdog in the first round matchups. I'm more concerned with Taylor being in this thing. He has done nothing at 168. He is could very well possibly be damaged goods. He is coming off the Froch KO and if he gets KTFO'd by Abraham, I think he drops out.
Bute's a ***** who wouldn't fight any top SMs, especially if he had to fight in the hometown of Kessler,Froch Abraham etc. Showtime knew this and thus didn't bother inviting him
I would still love to see Bute and Andrade join it and make it a super 8. But definitly a classy tournament as it is now
