    Let's add Fitzgerald to the nuthuggers. Anyone who believes that a fighter is literally unbeatable and claims FLoyd is the #1 fighter all time is a nuthugger.

    I agree. Fitz even goes above and beyond the call of duty to harp on how the Cotto-Margarito fight will do **** poor. Infact he prays every night that it will. So he can come back and say "I told you so! Floyd is more popular!"

    being a cotto nuthugger is not a bad thing unless you know nothing about him, same could be said of any fighter.

    Def if your referring to my first description of a Cotto hater then maybe you misunderstood the context because I did'nt explain it meaning that when a person is an obvious Cotto hater like g_rapPBF,fitzgeraldz and when someone accuses them of being a hater there quick to deny it and say Cotto is good but he does this wrong and that and makes up false claims, and to call me a nuthugger is not fair because im aware that Cotto can lose this fight on saturday night because Margo is no pushover and I thought Shane was gonna beat him.

    This thread is pretty unneccesary. There are probably about 3-4 true Cotto haters on this site. Cotto is easily one of the most well liked fighters on this forum. However, you can't exepect everyone to like the guy. You also can't accuse people of having an agenda just because they scored a fight of his as a draw or for the other fighter. The influx of over sensitive Cotto fans is only going to make people dislike him.

    Exactly. I point out that Cotto's chin isn't exactly rock solid, and that this might make a difference in the outcome of the Margarito fight, and all of a sudden, I'm a "hater???" It's bizarre. Last night a poster told me to "**** off." I don't get this over-sensitivity.

    In fact, I actually like Cotto. Like many fighters with questionable punch resistance, he typically makes for very exciting fights. He also has a lot of heart, which is part of the reason that his chin hasn't caused him more problems. I don't think that will be enough against Margarito, though.

    Benny, I was obviously being facetious when I say there is 3-4 true Cotto haters. That point I was trying to make is that there aren't very many. Here are a list of fighters that have a large amount of haters on this site;

    Joe Calzaghe
    The Klits
    Manny Pacquiao
    Antonio Tarver
    Jermain Taylor(not so much anymore. Magically, people started liking him after he got knocked out)

    and of course, Floyd Mayweather Jr.

    There really aren't any other fighters on this board that get a lot of hate. Miguel Cotto definately doesn't get hated on that much. He's about to fight in a big fight against a Mexican fighter, and he's been getting a lot of pub lately. Naturally, there are going to be haters. However, compared to those other fighters that I mentioned, the Cotto haters are few in numbers.

    I disagree that scoring the Mosley fight for Mosley consitutes Cotto hating. it was a close fight. I scored for cotto but if someone scored it for Mosley by a close margin that does not neccesarily make them a hater. Just means they score a little differently than you.

    Cotto's punch resistence is clearly a question mark. He's been rocked a few times at 140, Zab rocked him, and so did Mosley. The guy is an aggresive fighter and he leaves himself open. Margo throws a lot of punchers, and throws them with bad intentions. I'm picking Cotto in this fight, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him get wobbled and/or put on the canvas.

    First of all I didn't single anyone out including you. And there's a difference between having a china chin, and not having the best of chins. Do I think he has a great chin? Not sure, but from past fights I'd lead towards no it's not granite. But to say he's china I think is ridiculous.
