Bad era for an abundance of underachievers there were so many who did not train and quite a few drug users...I heard Pinklon Thomas was back on heroin for the Berbick fight and he looked it. Dokes had a severe drug habit. Witherspoon was lazy and was never really in his best condition and he was a heavy POT smoker, Tubbs did not always come in to the ring in condition and Greg Page was brilliant in one fight and a sluggard in the next... Holmes,Tate,Weaver and Coetzee were well conditioned and Snipes was always pretty fit.

Green was tall and looked like a fighter, but he really wasnt that good. He was a good talker but thats where it ended. He couldnt crack an egg and was too mentally unstable to handle any decent fighter. He lost one sided in survival mode against Tyson. I suspect the same would happen against Povetkin.

Green had 25 or 26 fights his entire career. He never beat a fighter of any note, ever. Who cares if he went the distance with Mike Tyson, he wasnt any good.

Tucker deserves a mention, shortest title reign in HW history of 2 months then he was off on a crack binge for 2 years Of all the lost generation Page was the most talented & the most tragic imo Dokes couldve been something special but had a fondness for Colombia's national product Spoon was quality but he ****ed up, Thomas was looking awesome but got back on the gear
Weaver wasn't massive but well-muscled, strong, resilient and could really bang. Gets overlooked IMO and gave Holmes a good go. An in-shape Spoon beats Bonecrusher 2nd time and fights Tyson? Might well have been Mike's best test at that time.
