I was wondering and sorry if this has come up before in the reams and reams written about Cleverly Bellew and PPV, if the show did over 200000 buys would if have got that many viewers on normal Sky Sports ? Would Froch Groves 2 have got 800000 to 1 million viewers on normal Sky Sports ? Does the Sky PPV hype machine make a massive difference ? I believe the normal Saturday Fight Night gets 60000 to 150000 viewers. It's an amazing difference considering you have to pay £17 for it. Also if last weeks card had featured all 5 fighters McDonnell Smith Quigg Degale Groves , who faced foreign opposition , against British opponents even relatively modest opponents, would it have been a substantially better card ? Saturdays Fury Chisora bill is so much more interesting because of the British clashes. I am looking forward to Walsh Sykes and even Gavin Skeete more than any of the fights that featured the above 5 last weekend .
