Well mate technically if the unification bout happens early in the new year, Mundine could very well fight for the vacant "Regular" WBA Title in his very next fight. All depends on how quickly & when the unification bout will occur.
Looks like the fight could be in the first 2 or 3 months of the year. Mundine still has time to schedule another cab driver or Taylor. Would be great to see Mundine fight Pitman for the warmup.
alltough the regular title is crap, if this does happen atleast we might see Mundine in with a decent fighter. I think Griffin is next in line in the rankings
Yep Griffen VS Mundine in the USA on a larger fight card would make a great support bout and give Mundine his USA exposure he is looking for. Any big goldenboy fights scheduled May/ June next year yet?
Just read that Oscar VS Hatton May next year is possible. What is the chance Mundine VS Griffen on the u/c for the WBA MW title provided that AA VS Sturm is made.
