I doubt this guy gets DUI's two weeks before a fight...

I think he'd get crushed. At bantam, I still would rather see Donaire face Anselmo Moreno. But since that won't happen, Moreno vs. Mares for the Ring title would be spectacular. Mares is one of their poster boys, so if that fight doesn't get made, we know who Golden Boy was looking out for.

Poster boy?? WTF is that supposed to mean? Sounds pretty derogatory from my vantage point. There isn't another fighter in boxing right now who has faced the kind of stiff competition Abner has faced the past two years. To act like Abner is somehow 'protected' is blasphemy at best, and hating at worst. The guy avoids no one.

Hey frankie how come abner doesnt challenge Brian Viloria for the title he just took from Sejewra? That would be a good fight.

It's possibility. But isn't Viloria at a lower weight class?

To be fair to everyone they can meet at 114. No problem. We so small compared to everyone else and Pac has shown us how to even the playing field.

No, that won't happen. Abner can't make 115. He will be at 118 for a few more fights till we move on to 122lbs.

OK OK You drive a hard bargain. They can meet at 116 and winner gets Penalosa. Tell abner he has a fan in the peoples republic of the filipinas my friend.

I just feel Donaire has unfinished business at Bantam, a Moreno fight would have been great too.

Viloria is an awesome lil fighter, but I thought he just recently moved up in weight? He seems too small for Mares. I'd rather see for Viloria vs Gonzales the hell with Floyd and Pac.
