Just saw it, looked to me as though Bozic must have pulled something. Dont really understand German very well but it's perhaps the case he felt Abraham's strength and decided he wasnt too interested in going much further against him.

Bad result for AA. He wanted a lot more value out of that tune-up, not for something like that to happen so early in the 2nd round. Hats off to him for recognising that he needed some sort of tune-up given his recent performances and future opponent.

Hope he knocks Ward out cold.

Abraham is very unfortunate. Bozic showed a brave fight and King A was doing well with his body shots, felt the action and wanted to put some damage on, then Bozic breaks his arm all of the sudden, and there goes your get back on track win, the opponent TKOs himself. Hardly anyone's fault really, Bozic opened up crazy and his last should caught Abraham's double guard from a bad angle. But terrible timing.

On Ward, I don't see Abraham winning, he likes to operate at range and covers up close, so all Ward has to do is to open up and make AA go into turtle mode, step, inside, grab him, use his shoulders and head and box from the inside.

Abraham needs to kick Uli Wegner and hire someone who can teach him some inside moves, I mean he's a short SMW with explosive power, how the **** is he not using his built to do damage on the inside? But Wegner is not the man to beat Ward, Abraham will hardly win a round unless he changes coaches.

He shattered his hand punching Abraham in the elbow.

Curiously, Bozic has only ever been legitimately stopped once - by Vitali Tsypko.

His two subsequent stoppage losses (against Sartison and now Abraham) have both come from injury.

At 36 he is unlikely to get another opportunity. It's too bad; he seemed really game and had gotten up 10-9 on my card (possibly en route to 20-18...) when he took himself out of it.

I still think Abraham is a very live threat in the Ward fight. Surely he must recognise he has to take more chances. If he catches Ward clean he will knock him out. Even look at the 12th rd against Froch, caught him on 2 seperate occasions and Froch was stunned.

Shame about Bozic's hand, he looked game and it was shaping up to be a decent fight

Froch and Ward are both 6"1, Froch does have those freakishly long arms though

If only he could get Ward to do the same. Then that turtle defence might be worth it.

This was a one in a million fluke. :yep Unless he's had his elbow surgically reinforced with the same steel they used to rebuild his jaw after the first Miranda fight...:think

From time to time Ward will go toe to toe with Abraham and will give Abraham a real chance of victory. Ward has wants to prove himself.

Yea but Ward dominated the guy that Froch lost to. Abraham lost to Froch an really bad. Ward isnt over hyped. Everybody knows he has great boxing skills but limited power.

Abraham looked really stale again, not a world class fighter he is perceived as. I felt as is Bozic was on his way to an upset before his hand messed up

    Easy fight for Ward
