Abraham stated he wants to unify the titles and he will do it in the US. He said he wants to face the winner of Pavlik/ Taylor, but for unification it will have to be against Pavlik. No belts on the line for the rematch at 166.
Abraham will never fight in America against a top fighter, it just won't happen, he needs his judges, and his refs. But it doesn't matter, because he couldn't beat Taylor or Pavlik. And Pavlik would knock him out early.
Abraham will knock Pavlik out, I'm certain of it I'll be sticking some serious cash on that, will probably get good odds
LOL....Abraham Ko Pavlik........Dont be foolish. Pavlik,Taylor, either one would make short work of him. Keep your money buddy....you work hard for it.
I think your slightly underestimating Abraham...he has a good warrior instinct about him (somethink about his game reminds me of Nigel Benn)!
It wouldn't really be a foolish bet, considering Pavlik was staggering around like a drunk against Taylor, a man that couldn't even shift Spinks Abraham hits harder than Taylor, and is an all-round better boxer, as much as Americans don't like to believe it
Will NEVER EVER happen. You heard it here first, Abraham will spend his entire career avoiding the top competition and fighting in Germany against fighters who are ranked 8-15. After the complete and utter beatdown Edison Miranda gave him its no wonder. I hope for the sake of the IBF middleweight belt that Wayne Elcock knocks this punk out so we dont have a fraud as a champion anymore.
Taylor make short work of him?? cause abraham has a china chin ?? cause he has been knocked out soooooooo many times??? taylor didnt ko spinks or ouma, but he ko´s abraham :rofl :rofl CONGRATS:you are a euro hating puppet!:yep
Abraham is no Ottke! He'll already have fans waiting for him in America (courtesy of the Armenian-American community)...he'll go if the money is right:good
Weren't they saying the same thing about Calzaghe? I mean why is it so important that he fights in the US? He showed tremendous heart against Miranda .
I'd favor Pavlik, but I think a fight against Abraham would be interesting. Kelly's body would be tested. But either guy gets embarrassed against an elite boxer with legs. Fortunately for them, there's no one by that description in the Middleweight division.
Also, Abraham is not in any way a champion. It's our job as fans to call him for what he is -- a contender. He's the No. 2 contender after Taylor. That belt he holds is nothing but paper.
Pavlik has a variety of tools that would give Abraham real trouble. Namely work rate, accuracy and power. I'll confess I've only seen Abraham on you tube, and that makes it a little difficult to judge. However, their one common opponent went the distance against Arthur, but got beat half to death against Pavlik. Miranda was connecting pretty good with those looping punches against Abraham. Imagine Pavlik throwing his jab, his 1-2, the lead right, et, 80-100 times per round with his usual 40-50% connect rate. I think Abraham is a genuine bad ass who would make a fight of it, but in the end, Pavlik KO6 Abraham. Boo
