I like this fight, tough one for Rees. Would we expect this one to land in Cardiff then?

Been a thread for it, it was a unanimous 'one step too far for Rees wide UD' opinion from 99% of people

what about McEwan vs Hope on the undercard?

It will be Kotelnik all over again. Rees fighting the only way he can, which is to try and get on the inside, gets outboxed and caught with one to many clean blows and is stopped late.

Gavin Rees is so underestimated on here it's unreal,he very strong, very elusive and got fast hands.i believe he'll win this fight, him and Gary Lockett both work very hard and deserve the successes there having.

he was outoworking kotelnik a lot in that fight until he gassed, its his stamina thats the big issue

Agreed Billy! I was really impressed seeing him live against Matthews last time out.

He was throwing more shots, but they were mainly blocked. Kotelnik was tagging him clean shots and more regularly as the fight went on. I had Kotelnik clearly ahead when it was stopped.

If Abril taught Rios a boxing lesson, I do not see much hope for The Rock, sorry Gav

Rees has a good chance if he can rough Abril up on the inside, but Abril has the skills to teach Rees a lesson and make him look very silly. Abril beat Rios so it is a huge scalp for Rees if it comes off
