Adam is one of the most grounded and nicest blokes iv ever met. He also does wonders for Weston park cancer charity. Never known him to be ignorant or arrogant.


I think he should come of the Euro Route as its tarnishing his resume. Making it feel a bit over protected. He should look at Blackwell then Eubank jnr after his innevitable loss to BJS

please don't chuck him in with BJS tho, its all about levels and hes not there yet. It would be a schooling and there is no need to rush him.

 

Nice to see another perspective. I must admit he comes across as a decent kid on TV. Boxing wise,Id like to see him avoid the British scene for the time being and box some tough,but carefully selected Americans. Maybe even over there. He's the kind of boxer who could benefit from this,I think.

 

my opinion on a few Sheffield boxers who i have met a few times.

kell brook is a bit dim, not very comfortable with the fame as you would think. The circles he grew up in was pretty bad and he will never let them go or forget them. You gotta respect a guy who sticks with them people but they will hold him back, no doubt.

Kid Galahad lives the life, and will become a world champion. Id say hes not as dangerous as frampton but on par with quigg. Hes a wise lad and will have a longer career than kell.

Adam Etches, massive ticket seller, which will always attract business. I think he needs to be matched well tho. IM pretty sure he was into MMA until he was 17/18 and picked up a few bad habits in that time. Hes a great listener though and he is improving and has obvious strength. He also has sponsorship to let him do this full time. Id love to see etches vs eubank.

who else, burkinshaw. Was written off under glyn Rhodes, his confiddence was on its arse and he was gone, then he joined ryans gym with woodhouse and hes got his spring back and now commonwealth champ knocking on worlds door. Massive turn around. Top bloke. Also Ryan is probably best up and coming trainer in UK at minute. The amount of self belief he puts in his fighters is unbelievable.

who else, Liam Cameron. He has the best pedigree than anyone above, most boxers would kill for his natural talent. His downfall was the desire to win, never went into fight mode. Hes growing up tho.

and last i want to talk about serge abomo. Hes gonna be haunted for rest of his career with what happened to Jerome last week. What he did was really bad but i hope he can put it behind him Cos this lad will go all the way. I just cant see anyone getting the better of him. If you could mould him and Cameron together you got a champ. Might be too soon to praise serge after last fight but in gonna go there. Get well soon jerome

Adam Etches makes Kell Brook look like Peter Hitchens, pretty sure the lad has learning difficulties. Decent fighter though, if not limited.
