As far as i thought it would be a mirror bout to Adamek/Golota, it has just seemed to me that the last thing Adamek had on his mind was to KO McBride. Anyway, I dont perceive it as a weak performance by Adamek, even though there was no KO involved.

Adamek was punched after bell and McBride used his leg to make Adamek go down.

I like the way Adamek was turning McBride throughout the fight and peppering him with shots. As bad as McBride is, the size disparity between the two fighters was disgusting and one lucky punch landed could have done a lot of damage, so Adamek had to be vigilant. McBride landed a few times, especially in clinches behind the head and to the sides and Adamek had no trouble. Adamek can take big man punches, that's the one thing he's proven as a HW. If he can take VK's punches once in a while, I do think he can outpoint him.

That's what can happen when you fight a guy who's 5 inches taller than you. You will have to reach and thus have precarious balance. At least Adamek comes to fight physically prepared, unlike a certain recent fighter who was gifted his title shot, came in unprepared and came out crippled.

Based on what? His savage beating of Valuev or his grade A certified china chin?

Adamek has no business at heavyweight. Vitali would brutally KO him.

    :good This.

Adamek is a great Light Heavyweight but doesn't have the tools to fight at the top level at HW... he has speed and boxing ability to outbox lumbering rusty tomato cans like Mcbride, Grant, Golota and the out of shape slugger Arreola but he doesn't have enough of a dig or defence to hang with either Klitschko, or Haye for that matter... he's just too small and too easy to hit for anyone with a jot of handspeed.

I like Adamek but watching that as well as his fight agains an old, out of shape, shot to bits Grant I don't think Adamek should be at Heavyweight and Vitali is going to stop him fairly easily.

based on the fact Adamek has less power than malignaggi at heavyweight.

Based on the fact that Haye has much more punching power and is harder to hit. Adamek is too easy to hit and his power has no effect at the weight
