No, if anything he's overrated. Not in a million years do I ever see him giving the slightest trouble to Wlad or Vitali

In a weak division, I'd say rated about right. Top five HW is...well, what do you want? He's not top 3. He might be underrated p4p though...

He's been a HW for 12 months so the book on Adamek as a HW has yet to be written. Top 5 HW in 12 months - not too shabby, considering people thought he was joking when he first suggested a move up to HW, after the Banks fight. If anything, I would suggest people's conclusions on him as a HW (whether they over rate or under rate him) are still premature.

......in his back yard no less. Bettors thought he was the favorite and I would say a slight majority of ESBers thought he was the under dog. Like often with Adamek's opponents, the argument of too big, too powerful was used very often with Arreola.

These are all exaggarations imo. How do you tell a guy as accomplished as Adamek that he can't "touch" someone. Surely he has enough skill, speed, chin, ring IQ and toughness to be at least competative with anyone. Its not as though the Klits are a bad style match up for him. You're basically saying that the Klits are too big and too strong for Adamek. Well let me tell you - that argument has been used ad nauseum with Adamek's opponents.

Yeah, that's more reasonable. But too see Adamek Ko'd that would be something else imo. I've seen him go to war many times to know enough about both his chin and his fast recuperation tactics. IMO the Klits are a bit too conservative to capitalize even if they had Adamek in trouble. It could be that Adamek goes in with a plan to outbox the Klits and its totally foiled. But knowing how Adamek fights, he's good as adapting to his opponents strenghts on the fly. This is why I give him a chance.

I could see how people can get the impression that Adamek is over rated here on ESB - since he has some many fans and all. But elsewhere especially on TV, he's not being over rated at all -
its not as though HBO has been singing his praises or giving his career much air time and it was quite obvious they were pulling for Arreola all the way.
