    http://www.ringpolska.pl/tomasz-adamek/20211-adamek-ustinow-15-wrzesnia

Most likely on 15 September at the Prudential Center a fight between Tomasz Adamek (46-2, 28 KO) and the 202 cm, 140 kg Russian Aleksander Ustinov (27-0, 21 KO) will take place. According to ringpolska.pl, both camps are in advanced negotiations .

The fight with "Góral" and the Russian giant would be part of an IBF eliminator, the winner of which would gain status of official contender for the IBF belt, currently in possesion of Wladimir Klitschko (58-3, 51 KO).

The winner of Adamek - Ustinow would face the winner of Kubrat Pulev (16-0, , 8 KO) - Odlanier Solis (18-1, 12 KO), as long as the Bulgarian's promoters are still interested in taking part of International Boxing Federation tournament.

looks like the IBF tourney will happen after all, hope Pulev fights Solis to make it so :bbb

That's not a bad matchup. Ustinov is managed by K2 isn't he. Would be ironic if he became Wlad's mandatory.

I could see Ustinov walk him down and bulldozer him. It's a good fight with a good style match up.

Could be massive for Ustinov, a KO is achievable for him which would move him up to 6th on boxrec

no chance adamek beats Ustinov, he gets schooled again like Vitali did a year ago, would end again with a late tko :deal

he's in good position to get a shot at the WBA #3, would be funny when K2 collects the paper belt too.

For which belt woult the Povetkins, Hayes, Boytsovs etc. fight then :rofl

According to Ringpolska those reports came too early, looks like Adamek is fighting somebody else on Sept 8th.

Hope this happens, but it seems as if Ustinov and Pulev will have to find different dance partners.

Oner is vyying for Solis to get Wlads next fight w/o the tourney, and Adamek hasnt seemed key on dancing with Ustinov.

Maybe they'll offer Banks the other slot and pit Ustinov vs Pulev and Adamek vs Banks. That would be really interesting, especially considering the history.

Banks is faaar better and much more solid at HW than when he was Tko'd 3 yrs ago at CW vs Adamek.

Ustinov looks the cruder fighter against Pulev, but seems the stronger as well. Pulev took few shots vs Walker who seemed content to keep the fight at range and waltz with Pulev to the bell. Ustinov might test Pulevs chin. Could be entertaining.:bbb

Banks is awful. Adamek would do another job on him. He spends more time in McDonalds than he does in the gym training.

Crap fighter, crap to watch too.

I'd make Adamek a favourite over Ustinov, who would have lost to Sprott if Michael had bothered training.

Banks has some skill. He just can't keep his workrate up in full distance fight.

Against Firtha he was lazy, and out of breath after few rounds.

He's not solid. He is mediocore at best.

He can't even get in shape for fight.

His best days was at cruiser.

And now he's looking like **** in heavyweight division.

Funny thing about Adamek. If Duva and K2 won't agree and sign the contract, Adamek will most likely fight sb else on 8th September. Guess who will get all the hate? Adamek or Ustinov? :)

Am I the only one who wants to see Adamek gone? He's useless.
