How do you think it will play out?

I haven't seen Cunningham before but I rate Adamek, I think he is much better than the Dawson fight suggests and expect he'd only be beaten by quality boxers.

Can someone give me a rundown of Steve Cunningham? Style, performances, skill etc.

    Cheers

Cunningham looks pretty bad at first glance but in fact he's crafty, tricky to fight, has good defence and is smart in the ring. It's a 50/50 fight, though I'm hoping to see Adamek win by UD, he's just more exciting to watch.

i have only seen cunningham once, but i think this fight will look like dawson-adamek, only at cruiserweight. adamek can be outboxed and cunningham has the skills to do it. i don't know about cunningham's chin, he took some shots by hook, but many of them were looping half-blocked punches, nothing right on the money-spot. but adamek couldn't even ko dawson, who has a questionable chin, so my money is on the uss-cunningham.

Cunningham said he wanted the winner of Haye/Macca in Jan. Cunningham called Haye out again after Haye beat Macca and Haye completely dissed Cunningham. If anyone was dick in the situation, it was Haye.

I've already seen it. Haye claimed he cleaned out CW, but how could he when he never beat Cunningham? Hence, the horrendous janitor comment. Also, when was Cunningham supposed to call out Haye? Haye beat Mormeck in Nov., then Cunningham beat Huck in Dec. Let's not also forget that Haye said he was moving up after he beat Mormeck. That didn't stop Macca from calling him out and getting a fight.

I still haven't made my mind up about this fight just yet. Still a pick em fight at this moment for me. The week of the fight I'll make my prediction.

I am going for an Adamek UD. But I will admit I have no seen much of Cunningham, but based on what I have seen, I think Adamek can pull it off.

    Adamek UD :happy:happy

I was suprised at the odds for the fight. Cunningham is a strong favorite.

    Cunningham - $1.36
    Adamek - $3.00

I was suprised because I consider Adamek a talented boxer. Cunningham must be something else. Could be worth a bet?

Cunningham is a boxer/mover. He's generally a lead oriented nervous/defensive style fighter, somewhat like a Malignaggi type with a slightly better arsenal. He tends to throw first, primarily behind a 1-1, 1-2. Unfortunately alot of his shots are non-purposeful punches, as well as wild off balance punches, and he leaves himself open to counters. He keeps his hands low and relies on footwork and mobility as his primary means of defense.
