From everything I've read, multiple sources:

Yes, he got in a car wreck, refused a breathalyzer and/or blood test, and was charged with DUI.

More importantly the polish sites are reporting that he's likely to go after the Banks/Mitchell II winner then the WBC route trying to get Arreola/Stiverne winner after that. Which means he's 100% ducking Pulev knowing he would lose and even if he did win he'd just get destroyed against Volodymyr. Going after Banks/Mitchell and Arreola/Stiverne means decent money and HBO airtime probably.

I can understand that desire but the thing that genuinely pisses me off is he is ****ing over Kubrat and Klychko. Had Tomasz said this right away perhaps Klychko could be fighting Pulev right now now or Pulev could be arranging another fight already since he'll have to wait until after the summer and Povetkin before getting his shot.

first..its financially a way better than fighting Pulev, since Adamek in US based, him fighting Banks and Arreola is financially very rewarding...it the other hand Pulev is not very well known in America..
and of course..WBC road open him door to world championship should Vitali retire..
if he can defeat Banks again, this would put him in 2-nd position in ranking...
Pulev is too dangerous for Tomasz and he has no chance of having a competitive fight vs Wlad, not to mention winning it.
this WBC road just make more sense for him
and furthermore...those news doesnt come from Tomasz camp....Banks merely offered Adamek a fight and polish media are now speculating about than...so stop saying Adamek is ducking Pulev

I would much rather see Adamek taking on guys like Mitchell, Arreola, Cunningham, Jennings, etc. I'm not very interested in seeing Pulev dominate him and I never expected Adamek to take that fight.

I don't know where the fight would happen or how much he'd get for a Pulev fight but these other guys would be in the U.S and probably be on HBO or NBC at the least and Adamek actually has a chance in them.

Another issue is that Pulev wasn't happy about the prospect of facing Tomasz in Poland and that could have made this fight more difficult to sign. Adamek's side have shown they don't waste any time in negotiations. If the other side is wavering, they go some place else.
