    I'm very much interested to hear peoples opinions/thoughts on the Shark, Adrian Diaconu. I'd like to hear from his fans, or anyone with an interest in Diaconu's career. The idea for this thread came about after speaking with Decebal, he, like others, hold Adrian Diaconu in high regard. My knowledge on Adrian Diaconu was quite limited to be honest, i'd seen a few of his fights but never took much notice, untill now. I decided to take a closer look and came away feeling impressed with what i saw. All input is much appreciated. What does the future hold for the Shark ?

    he's a good fighter, tough, good puncher, a bit limited. i don't see him getting a title tho.

    He has power, stamina, a great chin, but not much speed. he will get pelted from the outside by any of the likes of dawson, outworked by the likes of glen johnson, and outboxed by anyone with more ring experience. this said, he is a great fighter, never boring, and is not an easy matchup for anyone.
    i agree with outbox, he will hang around the top 10 for a few years, but never hold top 2 or 3 after this year - IF he gets a fight.

    Diaconu - prove me wrong!!!!

    Hopefully if he gets passed Branco he will prove himself next year against Glen Johnson.He is a good fighter altough limited his skills are underrated.One of my fav fighters

    Thunder i was waiting for someone to mention his skills, you're correct in what you say. He was putting together very nice shots, left hooks to the body, then to the head. They were solid body shots, he was really digging in with them. Also his left hook, straight right hand combination was excellent. I like his calm demeanor in the ring also, it's almost like he's treating it as a sparring session...

    I hope so as well. I was impressed with what i saw, it's going to be interesting to see where he goes from here..

    Thunder, if he gets by Branco, which i think he will, how far off do you think a fight with Chad Dawson could be ? I think it's a fight that has to be made...

    Well that fight is still away,Adi will be fighting Glen next and Dawson will look at something else.Not gonna happen..at least in the first part of 09:good
